Item had a (manufacturers' - ding - on the blade and some teeth pulled hair on end teeth . As I remembered it.
Taper Fine 44/20's have always been great for slide cutting without pinching the hair , although I only tried one slide cut with this shear and it pinched the hair causing uncomfortable pain at the scalp.
Also The man at Barber Depot was very helpful and worked with me through this process / return .
I have used 44/20's for 60 years.

We have had a pair since 1975 and they still in good shape,but it was time to have a new shiney taper shear. We think they are really nice.

I have used the shears for years and they are made too the finest degree! It's a great tool, I wouldn't use any other for the use I need at the time!
